Community Friends is a non-profit organization dedicated to building relationships that are direct, personal and long term. Our core activity is making high-impact investments in social businesses, micro-entrepreneurships, village collectives and community-wide enterprises, where our return is measured in both financial, social and environmental returms. Through the Community Friends Social Investment Fund (available in Fall 2008), investors provide the critical access to capital needed to help people overcome poverty by creating sustainable livelihoods.
